So does anyone know what really happened at the 7455 N Greenview at 3am on July 28th?

My friend comes home with his wife around 3am to find a 30 to 40 yr old white male, covered in blood & beaten severely, lying next to the entrance to their apartment building with no one in sight. They call the police, try to get the guy some help, but word of mouth is that he died. Police showed up, made a report, end of story. Sort of...
